Open Door is only 40 minutes from downtown Buenos Aires, 40 minutes from Ezeiza Internacional Airport. Open Door is only 10 minutes from Lujan and Pilar. While there has always been a rich tradition of polo in Open Door, the town truly became a center for polo in the early 80s as the Novillo Astrada family founded the La Aguada Polo Club. True pioneers of polo in the region. The region began to grow with the founding of such clubs as Puerta Abierta, La Cañada , El Magual, Santa Catalina, and La Colina. This region now boasts over 80 polo fields and has produced a number of polo pros. Our facilities in Open Door have stables and corrals for over 50 horses, an exercise ring and track to work the horses, two full size polo fields as well as an additional stick and ball field. There is a clubhouse with a fully stocked bar, a swimming pool for relaxing and taking in the sun. There are a number of houses on or very near the property and we have access to additional accommodations to suit your particular needs.
